defending my honor

It's been two years, but scholars are still grappling with my revolutionary (and not at all self-serving) theory about the inevitability of women finding videogame players totally hot. Or Susan is, anyway. That's one entire scholar! I think that's pretty good.

If you missed the opportunity to call me an idiot back in March '05, here's your chance to make up for lost time: grab some journal references (any will do) and head on over to Sue's comments section.

Comments

Okay, but how did you make a secret comment section appear? I see zero comments when i load the page, then I follow your link, and suddenly there are comments. I wonder how long this has been going on behind my back?!?

Sue: Tom is being sneaky and linking to the permalink to your post, which has blogger comments enabled. There are still no comments to that post via haloscan, which is why the footer has a "comments (0)" thingummy.

In this wise he hoped to leave some stealth comments, muddying the historical record. It's such a shame when futurists feel the need to resort to this kind of chicanery in defense of their wacko theories.

I seeeeee. So, conveniently, the only people able to participate in the continuing thread are those who are sent from Tom. Very crafty. Tom should be careful showcasing that much internet wizardry; it might lead to hordes of crazed women knocking down his doors.

[So what I need to do (in the future) is disable comments to blogger, I guess?]

Oh hell. I didn't realize your comments were screwed up -- sorry about that, Sue.

Also: quiet, Wolfson!

(I'd be happy to help fix the situation if I can, Susan -- I don't have a lot of experience with Haloscan/Blogger, but I'm sure we could figure it out)
