It took me a hell of a long time to get around to fixing the problem with the circuit, but I finally got my Arduino relay interface/magic extension cord working — thanks in no small part to the help of a kind stranger who happened across my Flickr photostream.

Aw, c’mon Ray. You guys have the experience and resources to build the deadly robots that I can only dream of.
At the very least you should order an Arduino or two for the boys at work. It’s simple to learn, and you could do some extremely cool stuff with it. It can run of 12 volts, you know…
